The Inspiration Behind
Issue 4

On one long afternoon a local coffee shop, Francine and HAT encountered the man who inspired this set of poems. After an intense conversation involving Oreos, sex, pop culture, Lacan, and Smurfs, Francine proposed marriage and HAT said he'd fall in love with the man, if either of them were gay.

Said man now lives with two cats, one wife (not Francine), and a whole lot of attitude in the middle of the Midwest. So, if you see Lael Ewy, tell him you read his poems. It will confuse him and amuse Francine and HAT.
